Body Trust Passover Seder
Certified Body Trust Providers Rachel Millner and Aaron Flores will be hosting and co-facilitating a Body Trust Seder based on the Passover Seders that they have observed and celebrated as members of the Jewish community.
A traditional Passover Seder celebrates the Jews being freed from bondage and slavery in Egypt. Each year, Jews around the world sit together with friends and family to remember that our freedom is not to be taken for granted. Passover acknowledges that since we were once slaves and now free, it is our obligation to oppose oppression or modern day slavery in all forms. Freedom comes with a responsibility to help all others be free.
The similarities and themes of a Passover Seder are in alignment in many ways with our Body Trust training and what better way to explore these themes than around a table of food with close friends. Please join us as we embark on our own Body Trust Passover Seder to celebrate the liberation from diet culture and because we are free, to help others break free from the bondage of diets and diet culture.
