trainingtopThe Be Nourished Training Institute would love to talk with you about the possibility of facilitating one of our professional trainings for you and your staff. We are available to travel to your organization or place of business.  Here is a description of the trainings we’ve facilitated for other groups:

The Embodied Practitioner: Reclaim Your Own Body Trust®

Healing body dissatisfaction is a valuable and often elusive aspect of holistic wellness. Learn to move beyond size bias and optimize your potential to deliver a weight-neutral, body-positive intervention.

Promoting Body Trust® in Clinical Practice

The five core competencies of Body Trust® Wellness (BTW) are weight-neutral self-care, intuitive eating, joyful movement, self-compassion, and redefining success. Using a combination of therapeutic approaches, including Health at Every Size®, BTW can help people truly heal their relationship with food and body by returning the clinical focus to more meaningful markers of health and well-being to improve quality of life and self-care practices. Because weight is a normative discontent (regardless of size) and weight bias impacts us ALL, this training is designed to help clinicians across a variety of practice settings deliver care that is safe and inclusive of all body sizes.

What Motivates Change? Translating Theory Into Practice

The conversations that occur between helping professionals and their clients are powerful ones, capable of supporting or inhibiting the innate change process that is alive in all of us. Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a person-centered, guiding method of communication and counseling that elicits and strengthens intrinsic motivation for positive change.

The Daring Way™ – For Helping Professionals

The Daring Way™ is based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The primary focus is to develop skills and practices to transform the way you live, love, parent and lead. Discuss how to Rise Strong™ in the face of vulnerability and empower your clients to Show up, Be seen, Live brave™.

Health at Every Size: The New Peace Movement

Health at Every Size® (HAES) encourages helping professionals to shift the focus away from weight, and provides an alternative, more effective way of talking to people about their health and wellness.
